How to maintain a company and a personal SAPLOGON.INI file

Determine the location of the corporate SAPLOGIN.INI file. For example, assume the file is stored here at  \\mycorp.server.com\saplogon

Create registry key to point to local folder

  • Key:                    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SAP\SAPLogon\Options
  • Name:                 ConfigFileOnServer
  • Value:                 \\mycorp.server.com\saplogon\SapLogonTree.xml

All the corporate items will appear but are greyed out and cannot be changed. You can then create your own folder tree and create local connections.  SAP maintains this information in folder %APPDATA%\SAP\Common
