Customizing your Fiori Timesheet App without coding

The Manual Time Entry Creation screen can be changed to add more CATS fields using customizing.

As shown below, the two fields 'Tax Area' and 'WBS description' have been added as an input and display field respectively.

        

 

To add the Tax Area input field (an existing standard SAP CATS field):

Configuration Point:

   Cross-Application Components -> Time Sheet -> Specific settings for CATS regular -> CATS regular -> Record Working Time-> Define Field Selection (Data entry section)

Double-click the field 'Tax area' in the list displayed.

Set the field to 'Input' for the relevant user Data Entry Profile:

       

 

To add the WBS description display field (a specific CATS field):

  1. Add the specific field ZZWBS_DESC to the Include structure CI_CATSDB

 

  1. Configuration Point for Specific Field:

Cross Application Components -> Timesheet -> Settings for all User interfaces -> Customer-specific modifications -> Create customer fields -> Make field assignment

Add the field 'ZZWBS_DESC'.

 

  1. Configuration Point to add field to Fiori App:

Cross Application Components -> Timesheet -> Settings for all User interfaces -> Customer-specific modifications -> Create customer fields -> Add customer fields to field selection (Data entry section)

Double-click the field 'Additional field 1' in the list (as the specific field 'ZZWBS_DESC' is the first field in the Include structure CI_CATSDB, Additional field 1 represents this field)

Set the field to 'Display' for the relevant user Data Entry Profile:
